	Eastbourne Christmas Open Houses & Studios Eastbourne Christmas Open Houses & Studios taking place on 19th/20th and 26th/27th November in 24 venues across the town. All details, including times, are in the brochure available from the PDF below, the Visitors Centre at the Congress complex or any of the Open Houses taking part. Taking place again this year, the popular Eastbourne Artists Christmas Open Houses and Studios will be opening their doors to visitors on the last two weekends of November when Eastbourne artists, makers and designers will display a variety of artwork including paintings, prints, sculpture, jewellery, photography, ceramics, textiles and Christmas decorations in their own homes and studios. Julian Sutherland-Beatson, professional artist and event organiser says:“This is a real showcase for local artists, makers and designers and a chance for the public to see artwork in a domestic setting. It is also a great way for artists to engage with the public and for visitors to see original work at reasonable prices.” Do come to discover a whole range of exciting artwork on show in twenty-four venues across the town from Upperton to Meads, Old Town to Seaside. Come, be inspired and, who knows, you might find that special Christmas present too! Christmas Open Houses this year are on 19th/20th and 26th/27th November but venue opening and closing times do differ. Also please check because all may not be opened on each day. 	The Sussex Guild Shop & Gallery Southover Grange, Southover Road, Lewes, East Sussex BN7 1TP The Guild Shop & Gallery is situated at Southover Grange, an imposing Elizabethan mansion overlooking Southover Gardens in Lewes. The gallery is run as a cooperative, where fine craft work – ceramics, jewellery, furniture, woodwork, printmaking, textiles, metalwork and glassware can be bought from the makers or commissions taken. 	Two Kats and a Cow 167 Kings Road Arches, Brighton Beach BN1 1NB Kathryn Matthews and Katty McMurray (the two Kats) are now celebrating their 14th year of Two Kats and a Cow. Now, as well as their own collection of contemporary prints and oil paintings, they are exhibiting work by guest artists, giving you even more reason to head to their seafront gallery. "We aim to bring to you, the very best in limited edition screen prints, fabulous and quirky ceramics by exciting new artists and contemporary jewellers, as well as one off pieces for your home that we just happened to fall in love with. Chalk Gallery exhibits a consistently high standard of artwork by local artists in a variety of media, style, subject and technique. 	Arts@theCrypt 23 Church Street, Seaford, E Sussex BN25 1HE Arts@theCrypt is run by volunteers made up of local residents and artists under the auspices of Seaford Town Council. This well equipped gallery is made up of flexible exhibition spaces which are available for hire to individuals or groups to display a diverse range of art media. It is located in a unique building that encompasses an atmospheric medieval undercroft which in itself has excellent acoustics suitable for acoustic music and literary events. 	Charleston Charleston, Firle, Lewes, East Sussex BN8 6LL Charleston the home for artists Duncan Grant and Vanessa Bell and the country meeting place for their friends, the writers, painters and intellectuals known as the Bloomsbury group, including Virginia Woolf, T.S. Eliot, Lytton Strachey and John Maynard Keynes is situated in East Sussex. The house and gardens are open to the public every year from the end of March to the beginning of November and celebrates its centenary in October 2016.
